Meadowlawn Ditch Project

The Meadowlawn Ditch is located within the City of Bridge City and originates at Ferry Road, south of Highway 1442.  The ditch flows generally in a westward direction until it reaches and drains into the Colonial Estates Outfall, which drains into the marsh located southwest of Bridge City.  

The Drainage District completed the Meadowlawn Ditch Project in August of 2018.

Bridge City Crepe Myrtle Ditch Project

The Crepe Myrtle and Bland Street Ditches are located within the City of Bridge City, east of Highway 87.  The Drainage District assisted the City with the improvement of both of these ditches, both of which drain into the marsh, and are tidally influenced. The Drainage District completed this project in August of 2019.
